The Erasmus + Capacity Building in Higher Education project EuNIT was officially launched on the 30th and 31st January 2017 at the Villa Valmer, Marseille, France. This was an opportunity for all project partners to come together to discuss and exchange about the project activities and their implementation.
The meeting was opened by speeches from Mr. Jean Roatta, Deputy Mayor in charge of International Relations and Euro-Mediterranean Cooperation, Ville de Marseille, Mrs Sylvie Daviet, Vice President in charge of International Relations, Aix-Marseille University and Mr. Michel Autric, President of the TETHYS network, Aix-Marseille University.
Work Package leaders presented the upcoming activities of the project which enabled partners to have profitable exchanges regarding their collaboration. The upcoming activities discussed in detail concerned the observation period for South Mediterranean university representatives in European partner institutions and the launch of the EuNIT training programme for selected participants from the South Mediterranean partner universities.
